Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ToolStack (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our website and the free online tools we provide (the “Service”). We are committed to a privacy-first design: the tools are built to process your data in your browser, not on our servers.
The data you enter into our tools
Our tools — such as the JSON formatter, data converters, and generators — run entirely on your device using client-side JavaScript. The text, files, and values you paste or type into a tool are processed locally in your browser and are never transmitted to, collected by, or stored on our servers. When you close or reload the page, that input is gone.
Personal information
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for or intentionally collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, address, or phone number in order to use the tools. If you choose to contact us by email, we will receive the information you include in that message and use it solely to respond to you.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data when you visit, which may include your IP address, browser type, referring and exit pages, and the date and time of each request. This information is used only to operate, secure, and analyze the performance of the site in aggregate. It is not linked to the content you process in our tools and is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies and advertising
We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and, in the future, to display advertising that helps keep the Service free. If we enable third-party advertising — for example, Google AdSense — those vendors may use cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and you can review additional options at aboutads.info.
Analytics
We may use aggregate analytics to understand which tools are used and how the site performs. Any such analytics are limited to non-identifying, aggregate usage information and never include the content you enter into a tool.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal information and to opt out of personalized advertising. Because we do not maintain accounts or store the data you process, most requests can be satisfied simply by clearing your browser cookies and using the ad opt-out links above. For anything else, contact us using the details below.
Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for a general, professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
